Mr. Montalto was an associate at a South Florida defense firm that represented several major hospitals in the South Florida community. Mr. Montalto also has experience in matters involving premises liability, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, personal injury and wrongful death.
Stephen Montalto honed his legal research and writing skills as a judicial clerk for the honorable Chief Judge of the 3rd District Court of Appeals, Juan Ramirez, Jr. Prior to that clerkship, he worked with the Miami State Attorney's Office in the 11th Judicial Circuit.
Mr. Montalto attended Muhlenberg College on a football scholarship, graduating cum laude in 2007. After 4 years of blistering cold weather, Mr. Montalto returned to his home, South Florida, to attend Florida International University's College of Law.

Eight years ago, Mr. Montalto joined the organization Big Brothers Big Sisters and has been involved ever since. He is also actively involved in Lawyers to the Rescue and Habitat for Humanity.
